Thanks, but i m looking for a plugin i used in su 2014. It makes a document file with some sort of cordinates of the componmets and you put that document file in the scatter node and connect it to a mesh. That way I could make many copies of tha same mesh with low memory usage....I don't remember the name of it. I remember I found it through this forum.

Perhaps you're thinking of Phantom Scatter?

No i have phantom scatter.... It's not so sophisticated it's just a small plugin that was free.
This is how it worked :
You export the mesh to standallone OC.
Then you make a simple plane or a cube or something that works like a proxy and make it a componmet and define the axis. Next you place copies of the componmet where ever you like (or need). When you have finished with the placement of the "proxies", you select again the original first componment and run the plugin... It seams that nothing happens but its creating a document file with information for the position of this proxies.
This file you can use it with a scatter node and connect it with the mesh you had in the beginning.
I know you can still do this with placement but this plugin help a lot.
