octane plugin no gpu devices detect

I have a problem

my system is not detecting mY gpus
iray say they are busy or unavailable

in devices list somethimes gpus dont appear

sometimes it works

i try changing octane version & nvidia drivers version
it happents in max 2014, 2014
octane 1.55, or 2.17 fail in the same way
iray fail

quicksilver works well
octane standalone works well

It looks like this is a fundamental driver/hardware/bios issue rather than with octane itself (considering iRay is also having problems).

I would recommend removing all but one card and doing a clean driver install (you can do this by selecting custom install during the driver install and there should be a clean install tickbox). Trying each card by itself will let you know if it's a particular card that has problems, or the combination of them, or all of them (therefore most likely they are ok and it's something else).

Do you have any other plugins installed in 3ds max that might be using the GPU's before iRay or octane can get their hands on them?

I dont Have any cuda plugin
clean driver installation doesnt work
using only titan z fails too
different nvidia driver versions or octane versions fail too
it happens in 3dsmax 2013, 14, 15 standalone works fine

Have you made sure to disable multi-GPU/SLI in the nvidia control panel?
(Octane doesn't need this to use both GPU's on the Titan Z and sometimes it can just cause problems).

Another thing to try is to disable any on-board graphics cards you have via the bios (if you have one).
(Even if you aren't using it for display)

I have a same problem with GTX580 and Titan Z too. Do you have resolve this problem?
