I want add a layer with another texture on the same mesh object and control the opacity with poser dial is it possible, is there a way for render it with octane render ?

I assume you are rendering an animation? If so, the only way to do this would be to set the material up as a Poser material, animate the opacity of the Poser material, then tick the option to Reconvert Materials Each Frame. If you cannot set the material up as you need as a Poser material, then it will not be possible.

yes its for animation ... the opacity parameter is linked on dial in automatic mode .. but converter all keyframe anytime is a complicate solution. :(

is it possible put in octane render interface a parameter for convert it only in render mode on frame or animation ?
The opacity parameter is linked with edit dependencies poser feature.

I don't see how this could be done. How would you identify the Octane pins to re-convert? And a material cab only be re-converted in it's entirety. You cannot re-convert parts of a material. If you tick Reconvert Materials Each Frame, you can save the Octane material back to the Poser material for any material you don't want re-converted.

Perhaps if you post a screenshot showing what you are trying to do, I might be able to suggest something else.

I use octane for character animation render too.
In poser i have linked the texture expression face material (opacity) to morph on head character through change dependencies poser feature and face motion capture data
So i need change the opacity on a material when a morph target move through mocap data ...

To do this - render out a material id pass, and use AE/Nuke/Fusion to change the alpha of that material as the animation progresses.

Its not a solution for me, thx anyway.
the only solution is not render with octane but do it with poser render engine ...

Please think about a better integration from depedent parameter of poser and octane.

Paul, think of a character driven with motion capture that changes color when jumping or displacemet increases and decreases during the jump .. this is just an example ..
