yes, i know that. We need a sdk update for fixing this.caffe3 wrote:There's a glitch where if you set the Kernel max samples to a low number, like 2, the render will freeze and continue forever while rendering info passes. I think it's because of the low max samples, but I will check if it's something else!
Also there is no motion blur in info passes, but I think this has been mentioned already somewhere...
Anyway, thanks for your time!

Well, i have replaced this method with new one. I hope we will not see anymore this problems.brasco wrote:I realise it's important to have the settings, but is there any alternative way for the settings to be maintained? I have to remove the plugin every time I export files.
If I forget, I get the question "what does the 'myOctaneSettings' do?"
cheers

hey aoktar.
long time no see, so long time no problems for me! great plugin your doing. simply amazing.
i've come across a little issue, that i seem not to be able to resolve by myself.
i have a few hundred bees that fly through space and they should be rendered with motion blur.
they are cloned onto thinking particles and everything works really fine. yet at seemingly random frames the mb gets completely confused and makes no sense what so ever. here is an anmiated gif of the c4d-alpha to illustrate what im talking about.

if i clone 500 bees to a similar spline, everything works fine, but the motion of spline-cloned objects is rather limited and i really would like to go with thinking particles.
any idea what i could be doing wrong?

yes, discovered same issue with tp+cloners usage. TP causes wrongly tracing the objects on my system. need some investigate the issuemomade wrote:hey aoktar.

please keep me updated. if a solution comes soon i could still go for TP in the projekt, if not i will have to go with cloning along splines..

is it an expected behaviour that i can not choose a higher object tag number than 7?
no way to do so. numerical or dialing in...

Hello,
We have a problem with HDRI gamma, or brightness in render for the first time you are running Team Render.Paths are set correctly, via path tab and via path itself to the hdri texture for lightning.
Octane settings/env/luminance mult. and Env. color have same settings.
WIN C4D R16+OR 2.21.1
Any advise, pls?

yes limited. Can you send me your particles to test the motion blur?momade wrote:is it an expected behaviour that i can not choose a higher object tag number than 7?

"env color" parameter just works if you don't have any sky or daylight object. Your problem should be based of different issue. Be sure that you have same versions also same paths.Proxell wrote:Hello,
