Hi,
Where is gone the option of placing render passes into folders?
It was a very great feature, which allows faster load time passes to After Effects.
The second issue is the rendering queue in Cinema R16 (Windows 7). The program renders only one scene, and at the next scene the program freezes. R15 version does not have this problem.
Thanks for help.

Enable and adjust some ram amount and try again. I haven't tryed this feature yet because i couldn't find a scene that cannot fit to ram.Kerem wrote:Guys i don't get the out of core rendering behaviours. Any more info on how we should utulize it? Because vram has no change even though i commission 20gb of ram from cpu with 1024/512 ram head from gpu? no space here. Still the same. ı did my tests.
Also be aware of out-of-core will be slower than in core rendering.
Yes sir i have been talking about this here for longer than 2 months now. The reason is that i'm happy with gtx 780 and i don't want to jump for a 6gb card. I think i'm good for now.

hi aoktar…
first time i use octanec4d (now 2.21.1) again for some time and a lot has changed.
i just want to report some things… (i m on macos 10.8.5, c4d r16)
1) when the live viewer is rendering i get issues with updating on viewports:
for example the top viewport suddenly doesnt refresh anymore when i move an object.
when i disable the liveviewer things work normally again
2) connected to the above something is annoying:
its confusing to me how to enable/disable the liveviewer
intuition tells my green icon means its running, black icon its not running.
but i guess the black state just means it is resending the scene?
i would change the first button to use 3 colors:
black=idle, orange=sending, green=rendering
and set the correct color when pausing/stopping/resuming
3) disabling the overlay info only works by right click in the liveviewer now, right?
4) its not super stable… i had 2 crashes in 5h work,
one when just opening c4d, and playing w the first 5 buttons in an empty scene
as said.. there were a lot of updates the last week, thats great !
crazy but i'm almost afraid that too many things changed in a short time
hope there is a bit of polishing coming to see that everything really works
cheers index

Too many changes? The older versions are all available to use anytime and there is always a version approved as stable. The new versions are not confirmed stable but why not make them available? Why would you want slower improvements? The changes are all positive in my experience.
Win 8.1 / C4D R16 / Maya '16 / 5x GTX 980 Ti
Thanks for comments. commend it. That's right. If anyone critism the stability please stay with their most stabile version. Ex. 2.12 or 2.16. We want to bring the improvement to volunteers asap. This provides to me test it and giving thebenefits of new features to users. People should understand that making a stabile release can takes ages. There is millions scenarios to test and approve it. But nobody should not hesitate to make any critism or feedback. We are working together for best.garytyler wrote:Too many changes? Also be sure that i'm using the last plugin for my commercial works. That's the best way to find bugs, problems and improve more. Also i'll fix the problems, bugs and bring a stabile release before 3.0

… dont misunderstand…
i think there was never a time when so many changes and updates came in such short intervals.
this is great of course, but due to the nature of things this brings also troubles.
as aoktar stated fixing all issues takes time, and i just wanted to say that this time should be taken.
