Octane should not fill this. How much vram is mentioned here? We consume a little amount for material previews/opengl textures. When you send a scene they will be cleaned. Also reset button will clear vram for Octane allocations.everything wrote:hello!
I've noticed that every time you open c4d and work, then close it and open it again the vram doesn't empty so every time there is less available.
The only way to "empty" it is rebooting the system.
thanks for the great work!

One way is, take the c4d background object and put a "c4d shader" with an small white image in color channel...miohn wrote:sorry, I cannot find it anymore!
I want a simple white color in the background.
How does the background object work please?
thanks

...other ways i dont know?
There is gpu monitoring issue here on Windows. After finishing render the values are not refreshing unless minimaze&maximaze the LV or C4D window.

It will work too with a color layer (not by modifying the main color) in the color tab of the C4D material.djart wrote:One way is, take the c4d background object and put a "c4d shader" with an small white image in color channel...miohn wrote:sorry, I cannot find it anymore!

Hello,
You can reduce the font size in the render stats?
Too big ... Maybe.

I tend to agree on the font size.

Guys i don't get the out of core rendering behaviours. Any more info on how we should utulize it? Because vram has no change even though i commission 20gb of ram from cpu with 1024/512 ram head from gpu? no space here. Still the same. ı did my tests.
are your textures big enough to don't fit to vram? If so first, make a test to get a cuda error to see it cannot be rendered. Then go settings->out-of-core. Enable and adjust some ram amount and try again. I haven't tryed this feature yet because i couldn't find a scene that cannot fit to ram.Kerem wrote:Guys i don't get the out of core rendering behaviours. Any more info on how we should utulize it? Also be aware of out-of-core will be slower than in core rendering.
