Hi!

I will try to explain this as best as possible.

When running an animation sequence, whilst using network render, when the error window pops up talking about lost samples (usually like 1-2 samples), the camera stops updating its position until you press ok on the error dialog. So if not paying attention to the render sequence, it gets all out of wack (Camera essentially stops moving).

I have temporarily stopped using network render on animations because of this.

I think if there was a way to suppress the dialog for lost samples, the error would not occur.

Thank you for your time!

Try to use version 2.16: http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=42585

We fixed quite a few net render bugs and hopefully your problem is solved, too.

You will need to use the same release of Standalone for the slave as the plugin - so if using the 2.16 slave, also use the latest TEST release of the Poser plugin (2.16.0.38).

I think I missed the bus. I cannot seem to find an Octane Standalone 2.16 in the Development Build Releases subforum.

I guess I should wait a bit until it returns?

EDIT - I see I can jump into 2.15 now, I will see how that goes.
