Demo for archicad?

so the best for me is to wait for the new release, about the price , i gess its to soon to know the price range? +- 600e ?

Imo You do not have to wait to try the demo, because if you have an Archicad license you can run Archicad 17, and therefor you can run the plugin demo for version 17. You can try the demo to see what the plugin is all about, for getting to learn how the plugin functions it is not important if you are working in AC 18 or 17.
And then... after playing around in the AC17 version during the holidays you will most likely fall in love with the plugin like I did,
and when ready you can go for the Ac 18 plugin version.

i have tried the plugging for Ac 17 with Ac17 and of course loved it !! haha thats why im here now. ,my old pc only had 190 cuda cores and to slow for my likings so i could not explore to much and crashed alot using the pluging! but that is going to change tomorrow with my new build, and tryed Archicad 18 and thinking on moving to Ac18 and want to buy your software for it but it depends if it is going to come out soon (got to work alot!) and thats why i am doing all the investigating before.

The AC18 version of the plugin is the same price as the AC16 and 17 versions - detailed at http://render.otoy.com/shop/archicad_plugin.php. I will update that page to include AC18 (since it indicates it's only available for AC16 and 17 at the moment).

Just to confirm, the commercial version of the plugin is available for AC18, and the demo version should be available for AC18 in the next 2 weeks.

The plugin converts ArchiCAD materials/surfaces to a light emitter if the material is of type "Glow", or the Emission Attention is > the Emission Percent set in the plugin configuration (Settings tab->Configuration). http://render.otoy.com/manuals/ArchiCAD/?page_id=79

If you cannot get a particular light to convert to an Octane emitter - can you pls send me a pla with just that light in the scene and I will look into it further.
