Looking at new benchmarks 980 seems to be almost as fast as 780. Great job guys!
3090, Titan, Quadro, Xeon Scalable Supermicro, 768GB RAM; Sketchup Pro, Classical Architecture.
Custom alloy powder coated laser cut cases, Autodesk metal-sheet 3D modelling.

I just ran The trench benchmark and the increase is awesome!

4x980's on liquid
Alpha shadow off, Coherent mode on, Pathterm 0.3

2.12.1
DL: 78Ms
PT: 21Ms

2.13
DL: 119 Ms
PT: 31.5 Ms

So ~%50 increase in performance!

Thanks Octane team!

these are the passes as I see them in Octane:

Full frame

Reflections

Refractions
refractions.jpg

And this is what the script is saving out... :?
The files called "refractions" are actually the full frame ones, and then I have those weird files with letters, numbers and symbols... :?

We uploaded a minor update of the Standalone version that fixes this problem.

Thank you guys! The script now works, but the multi-layer EXR is still empty. For now I can use the PNG, so I'm good, but you might want to check it out...

Here, check the attachment. Btw, to open it, I simply drag it in Photoshop.. Is that correct, or do I need to do something special?

Hey Rikk,

There's no problem with this file, it has 3 layers (Beauty, Reflection & Refraction).

I'm a Linux guy so I don't know about Photoshop (But I think you need a plugin for multi-layer EXR). I use djv viewer which works excellent and is free. You can get it here.

cheers,
Thomas
