OctaneRender not working

I have the newest version of Octane Render standalone, Octane Server, Blender Octane Edition installed. I have entered in the correct login info for both Standalone and Plugin. The server is running. When I click "Render" the server address remains but the login info disappears and the message reads "Rendering | Waiting for image..."

And stays that way, without ever rendering. I have uninstalled and re-installed all of the relevant software.

Are you sure that you are using the latest 6.5 version?
As what you describe is the old activation process used in previous versions. In last version the activation process was reworked - you have the "Activate" button there which should be pressed after filling the login/pass in. Ah! I discovered the issue. I purchased the upgrade in August that included a free upgrade for the Blender plugin:

For a limited
time, users who upgrade to OctaneRender™ v2.0 can also upgrade an existing
plugin license at no additional cost to make use of an available
OctaneRender™ v2.0 plugin or receive a voucher towards the v2.0 plugin when
it’s available.

I only have the v1 download available. How do I get the v2 version of the plugin?

Sorry. Actually I have the correct download. But the license says v1.

Looks like you need to upgrade to version 2 of the plugin. If you upgraded to stand alone 2 a couple of months ago (I don't remember the exact date) you can get the plugin for free.
