Yes I need object buffers.
Just curious why it was working previously and is now broken.
Sorry if I misunderstood your first post. I would love to use Octanes multipass for Object ID, but like you said it is not functional yet.

do you use standalone 2.11.1? plugin has core of 2.11.1. You should keep always matching versions. What was the last working version for you?

Yes, they were all on the same 2.11.2 final version. I was also having issues with animations not rendering right (they would get to a certain point and then it would just save the same frame all the way to the end of the animation). I've dropped back to 2.06 for everything and things are fine now.

I can only speek for my selfe, but it was more comfortable for production to have the ar-mp also enabled as long as octane-mp is not finished.
It didn't cause bugs when have them boath available; as far as I know.

thanx,
Best regards
+1 !
I just spent 1 hour trying to figure why my C4D object buffer wasn't working anymore :/

I'm waiting the revisions on SDK to support the object buffers by native Octane passes.

Hi Aoktar,

you recommend to have also Standalone 2.1... installed.
Where to get that version? Only one I can find is 2.06

Sorry for not been able to give precise feedback or file, but
with version 2.11.2 I got some major problems.
When trying to render passes Octane/C4D freezes ( have to quit via taskmanager)
Also when working with material node editor, which was fine in earlier version,
Octane/C4D freezes after some actions and I have to quit via taskmanager.

Sorry! I cannot give more info! Just reporting!

regards

Miohn,

Yes really don't help ony saying the "i'm getting freezes". There is many possibilites to check. It's not possible to do for every report. You should say more spesific things.

Also, node editor should be better. But it's still wip and i couldn't work so much on. It have to wait until we fix the passes.
