Hi,

If the driver we recommend does'nt work (try reinstalling or so), there is'nt anything else i can do.
I'm not using any GLEW extentions anymore in my development version,
so have some patience and try again with the next demo release that's coming in a few days...

I've just tried to install octane on my older + slower pc at work and encountered exactly the same problem... strange.

very very strange...
does it also give the same 'glew' error ?

here's a shot of my config (right click on desktop -> nvidia control panel -> Help -> System Information), also on windows XP 32-bit
there must be something you're doing wrong,
nobody else has reported this.

I reproduced this error last night, but only during remote desktop access, which has issues with Open GL.

I have the same problem using Maxwell Studio over remote desktop, if I have vertex buffers enabled (OpenGL 1.5 or later needed.)

Standard on the desktop has no error for me.

Hi everyone
Thanks for taking the time to look at this.
Here's a screenshot of my Nvidia control panel... anything strike you as a problem in there?

btw The NVS440 isnt on the list of cuda enabled cards so that might answer that one.

re the original problem with the GTX8800 I wonder if you changed drivers beforehand but didnt reboot before you ran Octane? just a thought... ;)

Hey,

I'm posting a new demo version in a few days that will remove the need for GLEW extentions :)
