I left this image rendering all night and still it did not get rid of the fireflies. Here is the image and the kernel settings. I am using a lot of mesh lights (blackbody emitters) Is that not recomended? should I switch all those lights to Octane lights?

When You're using black body emitter for mesh lights, need to make sure the geometry is optimised to have least amount of faces - single plane/quad is the best option =)

There are other things to take into consideration too, as Your Ff might be caused not only by lights, but also specular material, light coverage etc..

I was making some test before & came with some helpful tweaks - read if You wish, maybe You can use them too =)

Why not use PT kernel instead and use GI clamp. It should help a lot in this case.

I´ll look into that too. I do have to find a way to render this kind of thing very very fast. Speed was my main selling point when I got my office to buy this software. I don´t have the most amazing machine here but it has to be faster than Maxwell render. Whish me luck.

Vic.

Try to set Hotpixel removal to 0,5. ;)
