This happens when i press octane render from poser 2012. I have tried to take out object by object, and all of them work when it is singular. However, when i combine them all together, it has that error message. The total polygon count is around 3 mil, i have 12 GB of ram, and am using a GTX 560.

Thanks

You have 1.5GB VRAM. It looks like you are running out of VRAM whilst the plugin is generating Octane materials for the props and figures in your scene (check the Devices tab Octane Log as there might be a msg there). If you only have one video card, then Poser will be using some of that VRAM for it's OpenGl view. You can minimise that in Poser->Render->Render Settings->Preview, use SreeD, or set the Texture Display Preview Resolution to the minimum.

If you have a second graphics card (or user you on-board graphics) as the Windows display adapter you save a little more VRAM.

I think in general, 1.5GB RAM for Poser is not enough, because Poser figures have so many texturemaps and bump maps. I generally recommend 2GB as the lower limit, and 3GB as the preferred amount of VRAM.

Yahoo it worked! Thanks for the instructions Paul.

I started deleting all unnecessary props for that render angle, and changed the OpenGL to SreeD (which i believe is the main culprit). It now renders fine. :D
