Hm, when I render, it renders ... but I get no image .... viewport stays black. What am I doing wrong? It's the settings I used before (so no "midnight in daylight" or so error).

Hi
Can anyone please give me a quick tip on how to get displacement to work?
Below is a screenshot of my first unsuccessful test. The material turned black, Height and Offset change the scale of the cube, but no relief shows up.
Thanks!

Big thanks to JimStar for the hard work. Daylight + HDRI functionality will improve my archviz workflow a whole lot:)
Szymon

EDIT: Problem solved - the mesh needs to be unwrapped. Silly me. Seems that projections don't work with displacement.

Sounds like it's up and running,
Does everybodys octanelive accounts show the license for the octane blender plugin as 2.x or as 1.x?
My standalone shows 2.x just not my plugin.
Mine still shows 1.x for the octane blender plugin
I was able to go under downloads and d/l the Blender Octane Edition - 6.0 (2.71.5) & the Octane Server - 2.06 - 6.0

props to Jim and to all that have success, enjoy. :ugeek:

Cheers,
~Tung

Bug: Go to interactive render, use a render region. cancel the region by Ctrl + Alt + B and the area rendering does not reset to full view.

And for some reason all the images loaded as HDRI with daylight are BW. Is it a bug?
