hello,

I have a problem when I start rendering this scene, (on the picture 1)
I think that graphics cards are not the best of their ability because it doen't show 99% for example in the information window of the GPU.
This writing 34% and 35%. Why?

Octane takes a long time to make this picture, you can see from the picture that it's already 27 minutes made and it is not yet a half.

And my computer is very very slow. when it's rendering this picture, i can't do nothing more, my display is freezing.
and i can't used the preview window because i think the scene is much bigger or complexe maybe and cinema4d crash.

But, if i trying to render an other scene (on the picture 2)
my GPUs working normaly (98% and 89%), I can doing anything esle at the same time octane is rendering if i check on "use priority" on the second graphic card , but my scene is very simple.

So why my graphics cards do not work the same way in these scenes? I think it's weird

Hi,
how is possible to say something only two images? But i don't think that your scene is soo complex. Octane can handle much more complex scenes. You should understand well how to work. First check you gpu priority option. Set low or medium for monitoring gpu.
Hide something and check render performance. Try to find which is slowing things. Check memory usages.

I find a solution to my problem but it's very weird. In MY NVIDIA CONFIGURE PANNEL, i have disabled one of the two graphics card for cinema4d application. (picture 1)

And I think when i work now, one graphic card work for the octane preview and the second card work for the display of my scene in the 3D viewer. (picture 2)

- I have no crash of cinema 4d
- my preview of my complexe scene appear and works
- when i make render it's fast
- no problem if you want continue to work on your scene (modeling)

But i'm using just one card of the two for make render, because if i turn on the second for make render, it's very slow and maybe it's crashed

so ???? what the ****

I thought when you used multiple graphic cards with octane, you could make more faster renders ?

Are you using a SLi bridge with your cards?

What happens when you swap cards? Or try to connect monitor to other card's output.

If i swap the card it's the same thing. It's work
but i have try two enable the second card and reload the preview, and cinema4d blocked. I can't do nothing

And if i run a render in octane render settings, i disable "use all GPU" or cinema4d blocked again.
It's very weird because it's works better with one card and not with the two ?????

But it's just with this scene, when i work in a other scene (smaller scene of course) i can using the two card and it's works.

Hi,
it's weird of course. We can run different models together without problem. There may be a driver/HW or settings problem. Is it good enough your PSU to handle two titans on full power?
