Is it me, or has Marcus, Roeland & Co been MIA for like a couple weeks?... It honestly seems like I have not seen one post from either of those dudes... in at least 2 or 3 weeks... :? Maybe an extended vacation, once they had crap stable?
Everyone's been heads down working on some ...really cool stuff :) We'll hopefully be able to share more shortly.

Hey, we all know that an extended vacation would have been understandable.. And well earned, for sure... But okay - bring on more goodies!

Thank you sir. ;)

I really hope that part of the 'really cool stuff' is focusing on getting Displacement maps to work properly (without splitting polys) with maps that have mid grey as the zero point (like ZBrush). Information on that subject has been sadly lacking.

And possibly some tutorials on Zbrush to Octane or Mudbox to Octane (using a Maya workflow :D ).

I had so many issues with displacement on the last job, I ended up using a Decimated version of the actual high poly sculpt.

Goldorak, Marcus, Roeland (etc) any chance we are going to be getting RCs to test whatever diabolical weapons you gentlemen are making down in your evil lair?.. Or beta test again?

Great released as usual,

Just have one question, does the out-of-core-rendering is still plan in the future released ?
>> Out-of-core rendering – Scenes that don’t fit into graphics memory will be supported through out of core rendering, storing currently unused source data in host memory while swapping it into graphics memory when required.

This feature will be really great ;) Also, do you plan to have bucket rendering in the engine or not ?

Thank you,

Matt
