I don't understand you neither "indexofrefraction", If you don't like it don't use it. Anyway there was another work in progress for nodes in C4D called Cmnodes, to prove that a part of the C4D community wants something like that.Unfortunately the dev doesn't seems to have time enough to continue the idea. But it is in the actual state a really fast way of doing things. When you have a lot of layers it helps you to see all of them very fast. I'm a 14 years user of Maya, and when I passed to C4d I must admit that I really missed the nodes creation of texture. And now I can find them back in Octane for me it's something really great. To conclude you have the choice to use it or not, Octane render is the only render that offers you the choice, think about it. Great work again Ahmet ( you have all my support
)

to clarify again… i really dont have anything against nodes.
i just would like that things that are possible with nodes are possible in the standard gui too.
(i made an example where this is not the case right now)
its really more a general discussion about how to integrate the node system...
i feared first that the idea is to import the standalone and its workflows into c4d somehow.
but if it is integrated so that everything stays keyable, scriptable, 3rd party plugins still
can access all the channels in the materials etc… i m completely fine with it.
and… please dont missunderstand, aoktar, i still appreciate your work ofc!

Fantastic job on this last version! Thanks a lot Aoktar!
One suggestion: I have two materials (not mixed) sharing a noise by sample. If i want to edit the noise for both materials, i have seen i'm able to edit in node graph the first material and drag and drop the second material to restore the wires on both material. It works really fine and it's already fantastic but i have to remember wich materials share wired noise. I suggest you add a button or command to restore every material sharing the same nodes in the node graph for a global editing of shared nodes.
What do you think about that?

I'm planning to release a better version tonight with better node editor. Copy/paste, ctrl+mouse for copy, missing nodes in popup menu, fixes for workflow and visuals. Also it has improvement for Octane gradient node. My target is to provide full auto process to keep synced materials in node graph and material editor. Not soo far.atome451 wrote:Fantastic job on this last version! Thanks a lot Aoktar!![]()

I'm happy because now I can get multiple textures with mograph cloner instances!

One thing that should not make so mutch work...hopefully
Could you make it possible to rotate the texture environment with its object, not only with the controller in the tag.
Because when we match the sun to an hdr, it would be great if we can rotate them together and don't need to match it again.
Everything else working superfine.
thnx in advance
