Hi all,

This is last version of Cinema4D plugin. Plugin has several minor improvements/bugfixes over 2.05. Also i'm happy to reveal new Node Editor's test version. It can be accessed by "NG" button on Octane Window. Please don't forget it may not be safe for your critical works. It's still under heavy development and will be updated soon.

changes for 2.06.1
- fix a bug on livedb, which was making wrong values on internal floattex nodes
- imporovements on node editor: copy/paste, ctrl+mouse for duplicate nodes, material drop to LV(ctrl+alt+mouse move), several fixes/improvements
- Octane gradient node improvements, now it has simple and complex modes. Now texture connections is possible.

changes for 2.06.0
- fix for uvmapping on hair objects(Picture Viewer)
- Test version for Node Editor
- Targetted texture problems of Teamrender
- Several tweaks for workflow
- Some minor fixes
- Standalone 2.06 improvements


IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTE:
This version requires Nvidia driver 335.xx or newer(Cuda6.0).
Also matching version of Standalone 2.x is highly recommended.
And remove all old plugin files before installing. Any version conflict or old drivers can cause crashes

Concerning the node System: Are there any advantges over the normal system? Can you achieve more? Or is it "only" another workflow?

thanks guys. I hope that you could solved the usage little bit. it's not so complex and works better while render session active in live viewer. I have still work to do, will be better soon

you're welcome.

this is a visual tool for features currently available. nothing is new yet. but I think that will expose to see power of current features. we had some limitation because of c4d gui. I'm going to try integrate better all features of Octane

I just updated to 2.06 and now i get ERROR: Could not connect to Server. :shock:
I work just fine yesterday and eben 2.05 isn't working anymore. Stan alone works just fine. Any idea what happened?:/

Edit: Disabled Kaspersky and now it worked, did you change something regaridng the activation process?

The subdivision level in the object tag crashes cinema. when turned to 1 and rendered.

Hi Ahmet,

thanks very much for new version!
Node Editor looks very promising.

I know its the wrong section, sorry!
But what I really urgent would need is a node
for "saturation" and "color hue" like in the C4D-filter shader.
This would be such a great time saver.

If I try to use C4D filter shader, Octane/C4D crashes

Is this difficult to implement this?
