Hello!
The new Octane for Poser Demo Plugin V.2 is not updating (refreshing) the texture of a figure.
Is there any new feature for doing it?
With the demo V 1.5 there was no problem.
The help pdf is still the old one V1.1.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi

I'm not sure what you mean by "not updating". Are you updating the Octane material in the plugin Materials tab? Make sure you don't have "Lock" enabled - since that stops all changes propagating to Octane. The manual is available at http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Poser/?page_id=52.

With updating/ refreshing i mean, having a V4 in poser open and the octane render active
and the viewport of octane open, than changing the skin texture of my V4 i can't see the
new texture in the octane viewport! i have the autorefresh on, no lock enable on session updates,
refreshing the octane scene from poser under settings gives also no result.
I thaught, that octane 1.5 gave me the new texture automatically after some changes in poser.
But perhaps i'm wrong! :?
After reading the manual carefully i found out that i have to go to materials, right click on
victoria4 mesh and click on reconvert material for this prop/figure, than octane will update the
texture.
thanks for the answer anyway! ;)

Yes, you need to "Reconvert from Poser" to bring across changes make in the Poser Material. http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Poser/?page_id=61.

There is a new version of the Poser plugin demo (compiled aginst Octane 2.06) new available. http://render.otoy.com/downloads.php
