Hi all,
I just downloaded teh latest version for DAZ, I am a Pose user looking to get to DAZ. Octane view port is working in DAZ however no materials are applied and when i click the Octane Materials button nothing happens.
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
thanks

Have you registered the plugin and activated it with a serial? Have you downloaded the Live DB cache? Follow the instructions in the link below.

If you load a project that takes up more resources than your graphic card can handle then it won't open in the viewport. If you can't open the materials tab once the plugin is activated then this probably requires official support.

It sounds like you haven't downloaded the OR plugin materials. This can take quite awhile so if you haven't gone through this process you need to do it before the plugin will work. That's the only reason I can think of for why the "materials" page won't open even after registering the plugin. Please read the link I posted for a full run down of how to properly install the plugin and its materials.bpzen wrote:yes its registered, db updated I loaded 1 v4 characters and open view port she is all white with no materials they are not transferring to Octane and when i hit the button to open the materials to try and do manually nothing happens.
If you've already done this then,as DrHemulen asks, have you tried autogenerating materials? There's a switch in the plugin that will do this automatically every time an object is loaded. If you're still unable to add materials then please, if possible, post an image of your plugin settings. Perhaps then we will be able to identify whether they are set up correctly.
