octane render 2.01 40.62ms noticeably more fireflies

octane render 2.00 38.58ms still unresolved fireflies

octane render 1.54 45.27ms and much cleaner

I noticed the same as far as fireflies. When I started using 2.01 I got fireflies where i never had before even on simple diffuse surfaces

Update the plugin to the last daily build version (2.2.0). It has at least one fix in the render code that could avoid this fireflies.

Hi there. Just wanted to congratulate for the development of Octane renderer 2 and the Lightwave plugin v2. The plugin is simply SUPPERB!! Some very, very nice features added.

Best regards, :D

Hi,

just to say to you the IPR-refresh problem for the wire-plan, i was talking about some days ago, is gone with the new plugin version: strange because i've just replaced the plugin, all other parameters remain the same... but this is an 'happy end' for this, even if it is a bit mysterious ;)

Quick question to all....

Does any one know which version of the c++ redistributable the plugin needs?

Thanks
