Hi
I want to retouch in A.E with only R,G,B color.
But Octane automatically assign random color by material ID.
Can I control color of material ID in Info channel??

now I do it, by activating Scanline render, and I do it there
but that method doesn't work if you use depth of field in octane

If channel ID colors include red and violet, then precise selection is very hard.
Beside if the scene has Motionblur and Depth of field, it will be much harder.

In a Mat ID pass the other day, Octane had assigned a pink to grass, and a very very similar pink to a type of tree leaves. With the blurred edges it was impossible to get a clean key for the grass, as the tree leaves were also selected. If control could be given so that one matID colour could be changed to a contrasting colour, the subsequent matte would be more usable.3dgeeks wrote: Im not sure why selecting an exact color is so critical?

Another trick, as info chanel is fast to render, is to uncheck visibility of unwanted material and making another render imho.
