Hi!

I'm looking for organising my materials but I really don't know how to go about it.

As of now, I've made materials in Octane Standalone and put them in a material macro and saved that macro to the Local DB. I've then copied the files over to the folder which I can access from C4d, (LiveDB->USER). But the textures never link correctly when I open them in C4D.

How do you guys keep your materials organized?

Looking at The plugin version history I see that some changes in livedb has been made for 2.05, I have 2.03 atm so I'll try the current version when time allows.

Yes, we can't extract packed textures. i'm looking for a solution. You can use content browser for simple materials, except mixmaterials

It seems to work fine when downloading from LiveDB materials. There I can download a material with mixmaterial as base and other needed nodes and textures with appropriate links.
