I have tried various skin textures in Poser on V4 and no matter what I do the skin textures will not show up in my Poser Octane renders. Everything else will load but not the skin texture. Can someone give me a step by step on how to get skin textures to load and render in Poser octane please? My email is [email protected] ...

When you say the textures don't show up, do you mean you just get a white model, or is the skin invisible?
If its invisible, check the displacement settings and disconnect it. (If you are in 2.0) I was running into this odd problem with the native Poser textures of my model when I first load her in. (Though importing an older poc would load in fine) Seemed to be something to do with the displacement being active yet at 0 depth. Disabling displacement import in the setup seemed to fix the issue... (I'm currently using a version of 2.05, has this glitch been fixed in 2.06, Paul?)

Also try "Reconvert from Poser" at the mesh level in the materials group in the plugin
If you have loaded a figure with a texture attached, the plugin will use that texture set - even if you change it in Poser. To read the new set, use "Reconvert Materials for this Prop/Figure"
