when do you get this lags? While editing material or working on Live Viewer?

I really cannot say!
I'm even not sure if this is an octane-thing.
Thats why I'm asking for driver versions.

is it related with gpu priority?

I use prioity for one Titan.

Did you try to change "sync with geo. updates" option?

No - not yet. I'll try this

As I said, with 2.04.1 it is much better and I do not get these extrem
hangons anymore.

NVidia Driver recommendation?

Hi Ahmet,

Maxon has anounced R16 lately. Will your plugin be compatible with this?

How long will it take to get the new reflectance channel working with Octane conversion - is this better for Octane materials? Seems to be more physically accurate.

may be using the reflectance system layer of the new R16 with octane shader instead of the mix shader

sorry don't understand why and what do you want exactly? c4d's material is well only for mograph jobs, that's all. i think that's not fitting to concept of unbiased rendering. This is my personal opinion.

Hey Aoktar,

I'm getting an annoying bug with Octane. Randomly the "Convert material" starts converting and locks up cinema(Run this on a separate thread than the main). The Material converter Should Not run unless a material has been changed. And in doing so should only update the active material being edited.

Another bug I wish could be fixed is when copying a mix material to another scene it also grabs the materials connected to it.

Well as long as we're on bugs...

I've had an annoying but I need to complain about. Working with the LV sometimes out of the blue the view "blows up". It's as though the camera suddenly zooms in. Very annoying. I have to close it and open a new one and it's fine. I'm seeing it not just on my machine but most of my guys are having the same problem. This is with the LV docked or not.

Anyone else have this odd behavior?

thanks-

alec
