Nice! I'm too excited to save the shader to my local DB, but accidentally save into the Live DB, and find no way to delete it, my bad, so sorry about that!

Can someone please guide me how do I delete the shader in Live DB.

@ Stevenyang0430: The color is plugged into the transmission color. No need for a diffuse color. Its just a specular material with a scatter medium and large scatter scale value. At larger scale sizes the transmission behaves like diffuse, except that it actually scatters light, allowing for the backscatter effect.

@ yhloon: Log into your account on the main website (the link at the top); Press the "Live DB Maintenance" button; And press the delete button for the shader you want to remove.

Your welcome. :)
Alternate render with a normal map difference. Better or worse than the other?

Wow! The normal map does add a bit more detail to the character. This looks awesome. Thanks for hints on your techniques. We hope to get a similar outcome as you have been able to achieve

Updated with facial hair. Still need to do some tweaks, but I thought it was worth sharing before I moved on to the main hair...

Wow this is really good. Thanks for sharing Tony! I am not a skin & bones kind of guy but seeing this kind of quality makes it tempting to consider it - even just for kicks. And if these guys get their way we might soon be rendering animations of ourselves (resolution permitting...): http://s2014.siggraph.org/attendees/rea ... own-avatar

I'd be interested to know your render setup & render times.

Best,

Right now, everything is geo because it can be in the standalone. But I will be moving it over to maya for the final head hair and render, and I will test out fur.
