Hi everybody,

It's done i have purchase Octane render standalone v2 + c4D plugin v2.

But I have just a little problem about the new displacement channel.
In cinema 4D the displacement channel is more complete.
For exemple, they have a option which call Sub-polygon displacement
it's very powerful tool when you have a low poly mesh and you want make details by using your displacement map.
with this option you can subdivide your sub polygon displacement to make illusion your mesh is highly detailing but is not, It's just an illusion.

And I want to know if they exist this option in the octane render v2 ?

thank you

to add detail you just need to raise the resolution, default is 256x256, and to smooth it you can use c4d offset blur its a great combination !

Thanks again to Ahmet and his great work !

hey,

the subpolygondisplacement is subdeviding the geometry pretty much the same way as the hypernurb (now "subdivision surface" generator) does.
this happens after you klick on render but its not an illusion as described like bumpmapping, the object realy gets subdivided and the surfaces are displaced right before rendering starts
