why is the graphics card 70 W, if I start the empty C4D with octane render? Only the Plugin is installed.

Without octane render the card in the idle remains and reverse everything virtually nothing. The Plugin is not installed

It's waste of electricity without End.

Aoktar, can you please look, what this is.

it would be nice if you said in addition what.

It was different sometimes. Only when octanes Render the titanium Graka took up, stream was used.
However, now stream is already used and one has only just begun C4D and has installed the octanes Render Plugin.

Then my calculator would ordinarily use 130 watts. However, by the bug 200 to 210 watts go by the calculator.

keep close Octane dialog and Live Viewer, this resolves your problem. Also octane materials fire up Contex and you are requesting some very hard things from me at the moment.

Excuse if I irritate you, but just exactly this does not go.
There runs nobody Live Viewer, no octanes dialog.
Only one naked C4D surface with installed Plugin.

If in Turkey the Energy price plays no role, here in Germany he is awfully expensive.

I wanted only one answer whether you can regulate this again. Did not want to go for you on the bag.

i tested without any octane materials and windows are closed. It lowers the frequency and TDP of gpu's. So there is no problem as you said. Any change can collapse all workflow of plugin.

Maybe others can look please also sometimes. I cannot imagine that I only have this. Then this would be really crazy.

i am sure there is something in the background using your cpu. i have exactly same card single Titan. TDP is not higher than 6.5% on idle.

some states:
windows desktop :6.5%
during c4d starting 28%
empty c4d screen 6.5%
enable/disable gpu from octane settings tab 6.5% for both state
octane dialog window 6.5%
empty LV window 28%

so everything is ok here. i can upload screen shots if you want.

maybe you should uninstall octane and then update your gpu driver with latest version and reinstall octane.

Hi,

I have 2 Titans (first one set as primary).

When Octane Render is paused:
1. Titan: 95% and 80°
2. Titan: 19% and 75°

I also think, that this is not normal!
But I also have other problems with rendering (missing objects,
white previews etc....) since some weeks
and still trying to find out why!

Is so nice sometimes and throw sometimes a Screenshot high.

My CPU does nothing at all. It is simply about the GPU which, as the pictures point, works, although nothing at all is to be done.
