[quote="ASyme1"]I realize it's hard to diagnose from a description but that's all I've got right now. I'll see if we can make a movie of the problem. It's big problem though. I've got two guys that effectively can't work in Octane right now. We're going to step back to 2.0.22 as see if that fixes things, but it's pretty messed up right now.

I'll let you know what I find out.

Thanks

why so hard? please just check without motion blur or try with viewport camera. if it's things as I suppose, give me the scene. I can't fix it without produce here

Motion blur is off. It works in Picture Viewer, just not Live Viewer. So there's something to this. Josh is going to make a movie Monday morning and send it to you.

Thanks Ahmet!

Hi Ahmet-

I've been having another issue I need to bring up. Sometimes with the LV instead of the view you expect (whatever the camera's seeing) I'm getting a super close up of whatever the camera's seeing. If I close the LV and open a new one it's fine. For a little while. Then it want's to render this super close view again. It's kind of maddening. Have you encountered this?

Thanks much-

You seem to be having a torrid time at the moment, Asyme.

I put it down to you being a greedy sod with seven titans, and now karma is getting you back ;)

@ Asyme

How many Titans does it take to get High sample real time feedback?

Well that depends on the scene of course. Right now what I'm working on is essentially real time with DR. So there's 12 Titans munching on this. It can even play back at 30fps and I can watch it render almost noiselessly. It's sweet. We're getting there to eliminate the rendering process entirely. THAT will be awesome. Well we'll still be rendering but it'll be in real time.

Thanks for the info and your commitment for pushing octane to the limits!
Real Time.....Wow is that HD frame size?

I am getting a 4 rig Titan soon hopefully I can catch up with you in a 12x System.
One thing with a 12x system is if you are rendering real time guess you do not have to worry about overheating since the render time is only a few minutes. So for 15k you have a full render farm. Sweet!!

Using networking, we are running 12 Titans. I can tell you that it depends greatly on the scene. Simple scenes using direct lighting can run real time. 23,000,000 poly scenes with extensive textures using Pathtracing definitely do not
