Just purchase the car volumen 1 and have a question - how do I use the Corona Proxies? :-)

And one suggestion - have you considered creating a collection of common peoples cars? Here in Denmark, 95% of the models are to expensive for 'normal' people :-/

Thanks

hello there mate, great work. ;)

As Seeker said, if you provide all the cars as .OCS file format i would definitely buy them. I don't use 3DSmax, so if you provide the .OCS file with the .OBJ car please let us know. ;)

cheers

Hi there,
To using Corona proxy, please go ahead google search "Corona Render" and download the Alpha6 version for free!Install it!!You should now can drag any type of models into 3ds max viewport!! It's a simple proxy file to increase viewport performance!!(There is no VRAM advantage comparing to the original mesh)But corona proxy do save a lot of "auto saving time" when u dealing with large scale scene!! Also comes with a much smaller .max size!! If u have forest pro or multiscatter, u can ignore corona proxy

For the common cars: I am aware of that! I will try it next time!

Great idea!! Actually when 1.53 comes out! I know there is more easier to provide the .ocs instead of .max!
I will re-create those ocs file as soon as I have free time :D :D

IMPORTANT NOTE: Corona car proxy bug found!
Corona proxy has a little unit bug that may bother you!

So,if your scene scale unit is being set to CM, it's totally ok! You can simply drag and drop those corona proxy files directly to your scene! But if your scene scale unit is set to MM or M or Inch, that will cause the models offset problem!(It's a known bug for Corona A6,but fixed in A7,I still don't have time to test yet in A7)

To fix that in Corona A6 proxy problem, first you can re-set the scene unit to CM, and then merge the car models into your scene, then scale up or down to fit your original scene scale(eg.if your scene scale is Meters,u will need to scale the cars down by 100%),and the last thing is set the scene unit back to original! That's it! :P

Hi,In this video what are you using for the trees and vegetation? are these individual tree models or is it a plugin that generate trees and vegetation?

Thanks

Good idea. Know what you talking about. :D . Although everything in DK is expensive.

Anyway the models look nice but the paint looks fake for some reason.
