It seems a the spec map or gloss on her skin is a little to even.
I would add a few blue sss mapped blood vessels to her skin, along the arch of the nose near the eye socket.
Also the sclera could be blurrier or milky where it meets the iris. I believe most irises aren't perfectly round, they tend to be a little irregular and blurred on the outer edges.
over all very good.
Realistic eye test

Oh! That's actually a good point! Maybe I'll add a camera reflection, thanks for the suggestion!gordonrobb wrote:Only thing spoiling it (and I use that term loosely) is the lack of camera/cameraman in the reflection
I'm spending literally months tweaking and refining my skin shader, it's becoming a nightmare, as soon as I change light setup there is always some tweak to do...pid18000 wrote:Great work !
Trying to be a little more constructive, here are my 2cts :
- The skin is a bit too waxy
- Iris borders seems too sharp to me
Cheers

Agree on the iris border, I will blur it more, thank you!

It's actually a man's eye, in the future I will make a woman's eye, you will see the differences.Garrick wrote:It seems a the spec map or gloss on her skin is a little to even.

I will make the adjustments soon, but for now here is the full 1080p render, at 16000 samples.

Holy Crap Rikk. Nice work. I am jealous (in a good way).
PS How are you getting the glint on the surface of the cornea?
I'm guessing you're using a specular transparent cornea material and an HDR light for the glint?
