This isn´t implemented at the moment, but i can add it beside the other infos.
I used my own image class which has only things i need and which is much much smaller than the one from CImg or OpenCV.
But it can´t add text to an image like in the 1.01.
When you render a final, the time should be calculated by the rendermanager.

I found a strange bug. In the Render Region, after many times that you change light position, longitude, turbidity, month, etc etc , the render region stop to update the light position and render view. You have to close the region , "move the camera" and than it work again. If you don't move tha camera, the view is not updated.
Don't happen always, but happen frequently. Another solution is reload the scene and than work.
I hope is easy to check! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can use only the same things inside Softimage which the standalone uses, so i think avi or mov aren´t possible.yashugan wrote:Just one question: Octane support formats like *.avi or quicktime like animated textures?
Inside XSI, of course.
Thank you!
Not realy, the render region is strange to handle.yashugan wrote:I found a strange bug. As example, when the view is changed from top to user, the submitted camera from Softimage is for a little time period the same. So long, til the viewport has changed visual. Then i become the right camera. I have also to abort the renderer when this happens and only update the scene, when the camera or other things are changed.
I think your problem will also have to do with this workaround.

Will take a look, when i have more time.
At the moment, i must repair my dodge, which takes some time
One thing which can help me, have you used the "Log Changes" in the "Debug Options"?
Then you can see what is changed and if something is changed, a refresh should be initiated.

One question,
where you want to see infos like export mesh, set shaders, set camera, etc?
The problem is, when the preview isn´t active, the infos aren´t shown in the preview window.
I can switch it to the script editor or i can try to make a window in top of the screen.
It should also be possible to add a hidden parameter, which can be used in the viewport slate.

Where you like, i have no preferences, the important thing is to be able to see if the render is going to start, or something strange can stop it.
If you can switch it to the scrit edito i think is perfect, so we don't create new strange stuff.
Too gentle!

Ok, i will try it.
Maybe i must create a task for the script editor output because it stops when the renderer is busy, when i remember right.
Busy means, the render task is checking the materials, geometrys, also the entire scene.
But this shouldn´t be a problem, i think...
