what do i make wrong if it renders only black?
license is updated, and status of octane and c4d plugin ok
added daylight also
it seems to refuse to render yet
Stefan

edit:ok think cuda drivers have an issue yet. i try reinstall
stefan?
can you check the gpu devices on Settings Window? If there is no device, this shows a driver problem or gpu is not compatible.

Do you notice your cards run much slower on your macs than your PC's? We're in the experimental phase and while overjoyed at what octane is doing we're not crazy about the speed of the Nvidia cards on the Macs. Any thoughts? Thanks.

What cards are you using, and what benchmarks are you getting? I only have a 680 Mac Edition and a GTX 570 at the moment (I have a Netstor enclosure which I'll populate with 780Tis) - the latter runs the benchmark scene faster under 2.0.

Also, are you using the latest OS X and/or Nvidia drivers?
