After a little confusion, i have build a new RC with the fixes from RC7, RC8 and some other new featues...
Ok, here is the list, have also includes the old RC8 changes.

FIXED:
  • Animated shader values will work with motion blur.
  • Skip rendered frames will work again. For multiple images, all images must be existing to skip a frame.
ADDED:
  • The use of the SDK 1.55 will support GeForce 7.xx cards. You maybe have to update your current driver to get the plugin working.
  • The render region will work on all views.
  • The render property for all passes can updated over the Octane menu with "Update Render Properties".
  • "Distortion" parameter added in the ThinLens_Camera shader.
  • "Distributed Ray Tracing" parameter added into the Info Channel Kernel.
  • "Bump and Normal mapping" parameter added into the Info Channel Kernel.
  • "Wireframe backface" parameter added into the Info Channel Kernel.
  • "Parallelism" parameter added into the PMC Kernel.
CHANGED:
  • Max samples can now be set to 256000.

Yes and no possibility for SI to recover files. SI simply close without any error message

Hm stange, i will take a look to solve it.

Have you take something special?
Motion blur or so, or only a simple maaterial preview?
Maybe a screenshot from the rendertree if it is a little bit complex to find out what happens...

Nothing special

In fact, I just open the material manager and import an material node and SI suddenly disapear ...

Dont have this sort of pb with another render engine.

Cool, i tested it, there is absolutely one important stuff even in the render region:
You must write somewhere, like in the preview window, the meshes that are loading. On huge scenes we always are afraid that something crash when the plug in is loading mesh.
Could be fine also in the command line shell in bottom of the screen or where you want, but with large scenes is very important to understand how thing are going...

For the rest, is super cool!

Hm, import from a preset or from a shader compound?

Hi Face, thanks for the plugin update, I have a question, how can I see the memory used by the render engine, and the memory left in the video card? and the total rendering time of the frame?, in this version you can see the stats below in the preview window while the frame is still rendering, but they quit after the render have finished, in the previous 1.01 version you can enable the infos over the preview window, but in this version seems that you can´t, is there a way to enable it, or view the final render times and infos?
