Given the substantial features added, and the number of users who have started using it in the past 2 days, the number of bugs reports is tiny in comparison, so I think Otoy have done a great job with this.I just don't understand why you would knowingly put out a product with such bugs. Don't get me wrong, it's the best thing going and I love it. But really? Maybe a bit more beta testing next round.

So it will not be a simple fix, but they are looking into it in more detail.Actually, it seems like it could be a problem with Octane itself, not the plugin. Loading the OBJ into Standalone and increasing the subdivision to 1 makes it crash instantly.
So for figures which cause this error - use Poser Subdivision instead of Octane subdivision.

Sam, I just checked, and setting the Environment to Daylight, and then moving the infinite light called "Daylight" correctly moved the Octane sun.Just on the oft chance I'm doing something wrong, but is anyone else have problems moving the sun (Daylight) in Poser and have it translate into Octane while rendering? I also have a texture loaded up in case that matters.

Yes, texture loaded.Hmmmm...that's weird - and you had a texture loaded? Maybe it's my scene, I'll try a fresh one and retest. Thank you Paul!
