I know it's only been 5 minutes since release..hair etc
Hi,
So if I understood, to get hair from blender, I need an update from the plugins or can convert hairs as curves and export it with the current plugins ? If need to convert hair as curves, only this process will take 1-2 hours per frames depending on fur density
.
Thanks,
Matt

Ok guys:
Just about hair in octane v2.0 3dsmax plugin: tested succefully with both ornatrix and hairfarm (even if it's a little unstable at the moment: many crashes!)
My tests with 3dsmax native hair&fur didn't worked but i don't use it...
How does it work?
pretty simple: add an ornatrix or hairfarm modifier that generate hair... configure... hit render... and DONE !
The hair is rendered natively by octane (just be aware of one thing: octane renders the displayed hair so you have to set a descent number in your viewport if you want to achieve a realistic render... tested with 100000 hair succefully !).
I hope it helps... see you !

From Blender, not dev for the moment... including manually convert for make curves... Just need a few wait.
