Well, export/import as 3DS did help - sort of.
I get the thing loaded into the viewport but it seems, some of the material zones are broken.
As you can see, I can adjust the metal and canopy material, but the two others are, well, disobliging.
Even worse, the thing is a full rigged Poser figure, so I'd like to fix the original, if possible.
I tried assigning new UV-maps with UV-mapper to the original OBJ, but that didn't seem to help.
Do you have a hint, what else I could try? I have hexagon and modo, if need would be...
I'm not complaining about freebies - but some are really annoying.
