Hi Paul
Is there a way to Load all materials from defaults.
At the moment we can only load one at a time.
I am having lots issues where even when saved to defaults, next session doesn't remember the setting, so I have to go select individually and load from default but this takes time....
thanks in advance
Load from Defaults
Moderator: face_off
The plugin will always load from the "Default" if an Octane material has not previously been assigned. If for a given rvt file the Revit material has already been converted to an Octane material, then that Octane material will be saved in the rvt file and reloaded net time you load that rvt file. Is this not working for you?Is there a way to Load all materials from defaults.

This might happen with defaults which were saved with version 1.20 of the plugin. I suggest Save as Default using the current version of the plugin, and then the default should load OK. You could delete all the old defaults if you want to start from scratch. Hopefully you won't have to go through this again.Sometimes the material comes in but looses its scaling as well.

Hi Paul
Tried re saving with 1.5 but no luck on some
My main problem seems to be when assigning say an image which is represented like a decal. All goes well during the assigning and rendering but....
if I close the file and open again, most of the images are lost.....
Could this be that the revit file is located on a server?
This part takes most of my time again and again....its a pain.
Please help

This definitely should not be happening. My main problem seems to be when assigning say an image which is represented like a decal. All goes well during the assigning and rendering but....

What version of the plugin are you using?
Are you getting a popup window asking to find missing texturemaps when you re-load the rvt file?
Can you take a screenshot of the Material tab showing a material before reloading the rvt and after (when the teturemap is missing) pls?
