Hi,
I'm planning a new release for SDK 1.53 soon, maybe tomorrow. Just a info before that. If anyone to see some progress about features of coming 2.0, let me know
Cheers,
Ahmet

I would love to see the new subdivision in action, That is going to save a lot of time on loading scenes into octane. And of course displacement!
Are you crazy!? Of course we want to see 2.0 in action. I've been looking at the stuff Juanjgon is doing in LightWave and feeling envious - time to turn the tables! (LW doesn't have material conversion, for starters and is more complicated to set up I think)

Hi guys,
nice to see interest. I created a new 2.0 preview thread to show something about development. This will be useful to get some feedback about workflow and interface. I can revise something by your comments.

Hi Ahmet,
On Mac version 1.52.2, from C4D to Standalone via edit to Standalone, it gives a "check your octane.exe path"… Hmm on mac no exe format, where can I modify this behaviour which is for PC (Windows) platform?
And last but not least, some crashes happened with Mix Material use…
Quick one, does the compositing tag (exclusion, etc…) is supposed to work with Octane?
Thanks and Regards
Regis
