Just bought Octane render and blender plug in. Great product. In blender i could hide an object from transmission ray and shadow ray. The ray visibility options are missing in the object menu in octane render blender plugin. Is there a way to do this in Octane/blender plug in? I do not mean opaciiy. I want the object to be visible but not cast shadows. For an interior sceene i might place a plane outside the window with a background image and i do not want it to cast shadows.

I am excited that version 1.5 now seems to have the ability to set transmission ray visibility. Problem is i can´t find the option. Where do i change this in Octane 1.5 plugin?

Where do you change it in standalone?

In stand alone, you create an object layer node and it allows you to set this
Intel quad core i5 @ 4.0 ghz | 8 gigs of Ram | Geforce GTX 470 - 1.25 gigs of Ram

I will think how to integrate it better into Blender... Blender has no geometry nodegraph, so it seems we should make every Blender's geometry instance connected to layer internally... Perhaps optionally, as it may slow down the rendering...

Thanks Jimstar for looking in to this. It is an important feature. Is there any way i can do it in Blender plugin right now? I don´t use the stand alone.
