Sure ... my prob isn't critical, I can just restart the server. I don't understand ROUBALs prob, either. All I see is "networking" so that's where I'd follow up

Probably a stupid question but I just can't find the parameter to specify the output folder for the alembic file :?
Modeling system : I7 32GB Windows 10 & Fujitsu Celsius H720
GPU : 1x Gigabyte GTX580 3GB + 1x MSI GTX780 3GB + 1x PALIT GTX780 6GB +1x Asus Stix GTX1070 8GB

Scroll down in the render tab and use the same output Blender would use for output if you wernt using the plugin
Also, don't name the file, I think that causes problems, just specify the folder

That's exactly what I've done but it doesn't seem to work, the file is always stored in my user folder under livedb :?

As an example, my own Output alembic folder is F:\BLENDER-FICHIERS-ALEMBIC\
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.

Well I'm getting crazy, now it works even without the \ at the end of the path and strangely the alembic file is simultaneously written in the folder in mentioned in the output parm and in my user folder and livedb subfolder :o :?
