In the node editor rightclick -> Geometry ->Scene.
Now you can select the .abc file to open.

Make your animation in Modo, save the scene with File -> Export As...
Change the type to Alembic Format, setup a filename and hit save.
Import it in Octane like above, create a render target with rightclick in the node window and connect the corresponding in/outputs together.
You can also connect materials in the alembic node.
To render the animation, select the render target, use Script -> Render Imported Animation.
Setup what you want and hit "Start"
This will render the animation and export it as png image sequence.
