a note: one attribute is apparently a tad behind the others, as it can't be -yet- called the most reliable also; i'm sure to earn a better degree in this important category, in a not too far future. driving fast means driving risky, and i'm still tuning in for the right balance...vortex3d wrote:I just wanted to say that I own Poser and 3DSMax plugins as well and this version (Daz3D) is by far the most aesthetically pleasing, user friendly and fastest of them three. So far so good! No doubt you'll achieve or exceed the level of stability as well.t_3 wrote:a note: one attribute is apparently a tad behind the others, as it can't be -yet- called the most reliable also; i'm sure to earn a better degree in this important category, in a not too far future. driving fast means driving risky, and i'm still tuning in for the right balance...vortex3d wrote:I just wanted to say that I own Poser and 3DSMax plugins as well and this version (Daz3D) is by far the most aesthetically pleasing, user friendly and fastest of them three. From my experience, old octane mats don't load with this version (3430).larsmidnatt wrote:Is the current version able to use the old format octane materials yet? I'm waiting on that before I attempt using the updates. Thanks
Thank you for the info! Hopefully this will happen soon because I won't touch the updates until then. Nearly a year's worth of scenes and characters are stuck in the old format and I can't lose all those hours of work.vortex3d wrote:From my experience, old octane mats don't load with this version (3430).larsmidnatt wrote:Is the current version able to use the old format octane materials yet? I'm waiting for that too.
I have some complex scenes I want to go back to work with.
