well, yes and no. imo it is not that bad already, there is a good number of really good mats, and lots of starting points for tweaking and own experiments.voon wrote:Hm .. in a way, yes. when octane was first developed, integrated plugins were far away, and the node system internals had some insufficiencies in that direction. otoy devs did completely rewrite this part from last summer on (as you may be awara - big undertaking), so this is about to change in the future.voon wrote:Why is that? i meant that plugins were not able to uses the common .ocm format to export or import single materials (for the same reason live db uploads were not possible)...voon wrote:You mean export into a file?
