Can the subsurface scattering effect be reproduced in Octane on a simple image texture applied on a diffuse material? If not, can it be precisely faked through the use of an opacity map? Are there any other ways to reproduce this effect on flat objects like leaves, white paper etc? Which is the best way to create a realistic foliage etc.>

Hi Karba

I am trying to use difuse transmission, but it seems to have a problem with the reflection of the leafs in a window when i use it...

When difuse transmission is enable, the reflection of the leaves becomes grey...

Can you help me with that?

Thanks a lot in advance
