Me too... but how would I get back to the original if I wanted to?face_off wrote:I know what you mean - white balance picking is so much fun. You get an instance change in the look and feel of the render. I'm hooked too!Actually it hasn't been a problem until now. I've always saved my renders in a folder with Icelandic characters. It's not a huge problem. I'll just use another folder until next build. I was immediately hooked on the white balance picker so I don't want to go back to earlier version

No, no... I mean... playing with the white balance... how do you get back to the original white balance from whence you started playing with it... umm... does that make sense? You can go into the "imager" node and set the "white_balance" color to pure white - that gets you back to where you started. No, no... One thing I'd like to mention - which as far as I know hasn't been posted here - is, that when I start a completely fresh render and I change the render kernel type without having opened the viewport window at least once before Poser always crashes on me.
When I open the viewport before I change the kernel though...everything works fine...
Do you have a tip on this Paul ?

I couldn't reproduce this. Have you deleted your default rendertarget (as per the instruction at the top of this thread)? Did it happen on the Octane 1.25 build of the plugin? One thing I'd like to mention - which as far as I know hasn't been posted here - is, that when I start a completely fresh render and I change the render kernel type without having opened the viewport window at least once before Poser always crashes on me.

As the matter of fact: yeah, it started to happen when I switched to 1.25.
I'm not on my home setup right now but will look into deleting that default rendertarget once I'm back.
Thanks Paul !

I don't know how but in the 1.28 version suddenly the material picker in the viewport has become a color picker for the white balance and I can't get it to material picker again. Restart octane or poser does not help
I have no idea what caused this. Only thing unusual I did was to change poser smoothing to octane smoothing in setup. But changing that back again does not help. Loading rendertarget from default did not help either
Anyone else run into this problem?
