Problem solved, Thank you.
Turning OFF OpenGl preview in the Poser render options is not working, so I reinstall poser after uninstall.
After couple of hours working than everything works fine. Maybe my poser had problems.
In these days after find out Octane Render I'm very happy. Thanks again.

Im having the same probleme.
My solution works most of the time, but im sure that the problem has to do with the plugin, and the way i refreses the poser-preview window 1 frame at the time during the render process. It is just after this 1 frame advancing, that the figure (lige M4/V4 or what ever human figure)"cracks".

I found out that i my system things work ok - most of the time - when I:
In the setup menu of the plug in use a Refresh Time of 200 (MS) or more. (I use a 600 serie card)
I use auto Refresh: ON
In the Animation tap i use Refresh Scene Each Frame.
And in Poser i set the figure (like V4.2is) Properties tap to Include morphs when conforming.

Most of the time that does the trick.

Any other work arrounds?

I hope you Octane people will look at the problem. The problem is there and I can repeat it as often as i will.

Hi blogfather.

This error is most probably a Poser issue/OpenGl driver issue, and not related to Octane. I have this issue when writing PoserPhysics 7 years ago, and Smith Micro were able to fix the error then, but it seems to be happening in your specific situation. There is a python code work-around however I need to be able to reproduce the problem to implement it, and at the moment I cannot reproduce it.

What skinning method are you using for your figure?
Are you able to put together a scene with just Andy (skeleton) and reproduce the problem? If so, can you send it to me pls?

I have the same problem. Tried to do everything in your instructions. Installed service pack. Trning OFF OpenGl preview in the Poser. Nothing worked! I am sure that the problem is in the octane. Do something!

When this happens - you will probably notice that the Poser Preview window also has mesh tearing - so it's definitely a glitch in Poser. I have coded a workaround which has help one of the testers in the next version of the plugin - which should be available in the next few days - so suggest you try that to see if it resolves your problem.

I just went back through all the logs of correspondence with people who have had this issue (which has been 4 people) - and so far all have been resolved (although I hope the code work around in the next version reduces the incidence of this issue). It seems it's a timing issue between Poser and Octane - and I suspect only occurs when you are rendering with the same card that being used as your Windows display adapter (which is also where Poser keeps the figure morphs).

So the best workaround is to use your on-board graphics adapter (or a second card) as your Windows display adapter. The plugin runs so much better in this environment anyway - it is highly recommended.

Or, increase the Refresh rate in the plugin configuration to 400ms and in the Devices tab tick the Use Priority checkbox and set the Render Priority to Low (then click Apply).

Also - can you pls tell us you hardware (ie. graphics card, NVidia driver version, OS - are you using an SSL drive or normal hard disk).

Thanks
