They have infinite (well, very large) max's, so a slider is not valid in this situation.why does Texture/3d Translation not have sliders like for the other values?

ok but why would you want to translate that much?
surely you only want smallish tweaks... unless I am completely overlooking an application for it.

I guess large range is useful for decals.

very interesting the new node graph and node system, it's extremely powerful
i have tried to import an alembic scene with a simple camera animation and it's incredible
i have not get the texture but the camera animation is there and playing with the shutter speed is extremely funny
here is a simple example with the old benchmarck scene exported from c4d via alembic

It seems that color linearization of OBJ doesn't work correctly, 'linear' colors look like sRGB and 'sRGB' colors look like double washed out.
Custom separator (comma) doesn't work either.
