Without a network connection Cinema 4D is loaded, once again I turn on the Internet connection press the Octane button activation, wrote to me, "Your plugin Account is activated! I copied those files from the directory libs64. After doing that it started normally without any problem. Hope it will work for you. I'm using Win 8.1. Cheers

I have 1.0RC working great on a fairly complex scene on Mac. And I have tons of plugins on my Mac, but i wonder if a certain plugin is causing an issue on his end
Anyway, more testing on different specs is a good idea.

ok, honestly - great work on final release!
It's very stable! I have almost no crashes during work!
The possibility of integrating plugin into standard C4D interface is perfect.
Really really great stuff - worth it's money.
If you only got rid of this "hanging problem" in render queue I'd send you a good bottle of polish "whatever you drink" straight to your home
DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS ISSUE TOO?? :
You set the render queue of some different files. Prepare the save paths for images and set proper cameras.
Than you hit render, and after some images it just hangs! It stops, and shows a "busy mouse coursor". After that you have to go to task manager and kill the C4D process, nothing else works.
Whats strange - it hangs always JUST AFTER FINISHING the render and after this image has been saved. Like it couldn't proceed to rendering next image.
Hangs happen randomly. There is no rule for them.
Anyone??
This "hanging problem" appeared on each plugin version.
And since I'm rendering about 200 images in the queue each day - it's pain in the ass to keep watching if it didn't hang.. :/

Yes. Randomly. I have had two machines running a render for two days straight. One of them crashed twice yesterday (first time after a day and a half of constant rendering. Second Tim after after a few frames). The other is still going with no crash after three days. The one that did crash is going strong now. They also crash about 90% of the time when a render is completed I have noticed, but as long as the render was done, I didn't care.slepy8 wrote:ok, honestly - great work on final release!

We rarely yes render queue though because of our workflow. When we did, we have not had any issues other than the random hangup here and there.

hi,
after a frash install of mountain lion against lion, all the issues under osx are gone
about the render queue issue: i always prefer to render via render queue and i have no issue with my two machines ( pc and mac), but other machines in the studio always crash when saving the last frame. maybe is related to some other plugin or some older setting from previous version of c4doctane stored in the new.c4d file or layouts
ciao beppe

I have found a possible point and l though that's fixed for rc2. liveviewer was open when this last frame crashes? try to close and render.
r15 and win8 problem is still there. it's not a plugin problem

I have almost the same problem: when the renderer is almost complete, C4D "hangs" and nothing helps except unloading processes. I hear my video card cooler reduces the rotation, which means the end of the render, I think the problem is somewhere in the return data from the engine can be ... I do not pretend to have a complete understanding of the processes, I just want to get high quality images quickly and steadily x)slepy8 wrote: DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS ISSUE TOO??
